Large adult education classes are not for everyone and not all schools yet teach Spanish. Some people also find further education courses too daunting and it can be difficult to develop friendships in such big classes. With very large groups it can be difficult to obtain one-to-one attention or progress may be too quick or too slow with lack of time for practice and consolidation. Not all Adult Education class timetables are convenient for you, the client.

I will do everything I can to fit you into a class on a day and time that is convenient. If you are an individual who wishes to learn in a small group, you will hopefully develop friendships more easily with like-minded people. Many of my students enjoy the social aspects of their lessons as much as the learning.

If you require 1-1 teaching, you can be assured that you will get exactly that. No interruptions and my personal guidance and attention for the whole session.

Location

Classes are generally taught from my home in Harleston, Norfolk. I have created a warm and comfortable environment in which to learn, with open fires in the winter, and as much tea or coffee as you can drink. I will consider travelling a minimum distance on certain days to teach GCSE and A-Level students. I will also travel to individuals who are disabled or elderly. However, due to the resources involved in teaching, the majority of teaching is done from my home.

Types of Class and Availability

I offer tailor-made tuition to suit individual one-to-one teaching and small groups of 2-5 people. I operate a sliding scale of charges at very competitive rates (see prices). I have up to date resources including audio-visual material and will pinpoint the best study materials to suit your needs. I offer a free consultation prior to commencing teaching. Availability includes some evenings, weekday slots and possible Saturday lessons. Discounts are available for those wanting 2 or more classes a week.

Who can learn?

Anyone is the simple answer. I have taught people from 9- 90 and from all backgrounds.

I currently have vacancies for individuals or groups for summer or autumn start. Immediate appointments are also possible. So if you are a couple wanting to learn together, or have friends who are also keen, you could book as a group and save money. If you prefer to be taught as an individual then call me to discuss your needs and I will give you the most competitive price possible.
